Edinburgh Terroir: Honey of Stone & Blossom
With hives set among Edinburgh’s parks and suburban gardens, Gino Gabbar produces one of Natives’ most distinct urban honeys.
North of Hadrian
Scotland is where Natives was born — and it will always hold a special place for us.
Scottish honey is unlike any other. It’s shaped by wild heather moors, coastal winds, mountain air, and some of the shortest beekeeping seasons in Europe. From the mineral-rich depth of ling heather to the bright floral clarity of spring blossom, every jar reflects a distinct place, a fleeting season, and the resilience of bees who thrive in this wild, beautiful land.
Each honey in this collection is traceable to a single origin and beekeeper — many of whom you’ll meet on the Natives YouTube channel. Together, they form a diverse family of characters, united by a shared obsession: producing raw, high-quality honey of the land.
